Aminata Bicego is clinical neuropsychologist by training. She completed her doctoral thesis at the University of Liège (Belgium), which focused, among other things, on the contribution of hypnosis to chronic pain management. Passionate about the richness of human subjective experience, her research focuses on the neuroscientific and translational study of self-induced modified states of consciousness such as hypnosis, virtual reality hypnosis and newly, psychedelics.

EU Marie Curie grant

Also being a member of the PRSM lab, Aminata is funded by an EU Marie Curie post-doctoral grant ‘Hynpodelic’ to investigate how low doses of psychedelics can increase hypnotic suggestibility.
