Sabrina Hsu is a lecturer at the Institute of Political Science at Leiden University, teaching the BSc programme in International Relations and Organisations.

Sabrina obtained her MSc in International Relations and Diplomacy at Leiden University in 2019. Her master’s thesis explored how China’s financial inflow to Europe (loans, investments, and cooperation)—particularly within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative—influences political integration within the European Union.

Before joining the institute, Sabrina worked as a research assistant at the Leiden Asia Centre, where she continued to develop her interest in EU–Asia relations.
