Biography
Hadassah Drukarch is an external PhD candidate at eLaw – Center for Law and Digital Technologies. She is connected to eLaw since January 2025. Her research investigates the conceptualization and regulation of transparency to ensure trustworthy AI in healthcare from an EU legal perspective.
Hadassah obtained an LL.B. in International Business Law followed by an Advanced LL.M. in Law and Digital Technologies from Leiden University. She is the Director of Policy and Delivery at the Responsible AI Institute (RAI Institute), an independent, member-driven, not-for-profit organization focused on advancing responsible AI maturity within organizations. In this capacity, she collaborates with industry, academia, policymakers, and regulators to develop and scale the delivery of assessments and certification programs, governance tools and templates, regulatory advice, and training to various organizations, including Fortune 500 companies.
Previously, Hadassah worked as a consultant in Privacy and Data Protection at Considerati, leading the delivery of data protection risk assessments and training programs to clients across industry and government organizations in the Netherlands. Prior to that, she worked as a research assistant at Leiden University as part of two research projects under EU Horizon 2020, focused on optimizing AI and robot legal compliance by using compliance tools and experimentation benchmarks to directly inform policy-making and standardisation efforts within the EU. Since January 2025 she is connected to eLaw - Center for Law and Digital Technologies, as a PhD candidate.
