Research project
Srebrenica and the Search for Justice
National and international actors have attempted to provide accountability for the events at Srebrenica in July 1995. This research project aims to draw lessons learned from those multiple efforts in assessing whether securing a measure of ‘justice’ for the victims has been successful and how national and international justice mechanisms can be more effective in the face of such mass atrocities.

This research project aims to draw lessons learned from the multiple efforts -- both national and international -- to provide accountability for the events at Srebrenica in July 1995.
In particular, it will focus on whether efforts to secure a measure of "justice" for the victims have been successful and how national and international justice mechanisms can be more effective in the face of such mass atrocities.
