Marret Noordewier and Fieke Harinck present a new book: How to Write a Thesis! A practical guide designed to help students successfully complete their thesis.

In this book, they have divided the process of writing an empirical thesis into little steps. They primarily focus on experimental research; a common approach in the field. Each step includes a page of text with tips and tricks paired with an illustration, making the content easy to follow and understand.

The book is divided into four parts:

  1. Content of the Thesis – Everything from developing your research question to data collection.
  2. Writing Tips – Practical advice on writing a clear, readable thesis.
  3. The Personal Part – On motivation, working with feedback, and managing your supervisor.
  4. Statistics – A concise overview of the most commonly used statistical tests.
