Der Neue Poseidipp
One of the most intriguing papyri discovered and published in recent years is the so called "New Poseidippus" – a collection of more than 100 new epigrams ascribed to the Hellenistic poet Poseidippus (3rd cent. BC) and considered to be the first poetry book of Greek Antiquity.

The new edition with text, translation, commentary and interpretation of the “New Poseidippus” is the result of an international research group (Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Norway, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the United States), funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft and the Schweizerische Nationalfonds and led by Bernd Seidensticker (Free University Berlin), Adrian Stähli (Harvard University), and Antje Wessels (LUCAS).
