Our primary aim is to get insight into the psychological and neurophysiological underpinnings of social decision making in humans as well as in great apes.
The research methods vary from:
- fMRI,
- psychophysiology,
- eye-tracking,
- pupillometry,
- thermography,
- continuous flash suppression,
- virtual reality and
- behavioural observations in animals.
Organisation
The CoPAN labgroup is part of the LIBC and the Institute of Psychology, the Cognitive Psychology Unit, Leiden University and is affiliated with the Cognition Behavior and Evolution Network (CBEN).
Lab users have to be acquainted with lab protocols and technology.
