Guest lecture Coordinator on the Rights of the Child of the European Commission

On Tuesday 4th of March, Marie-Cécile Rouillon, Coordinator on the Rights of the Child at the European Commission came to give a guest lecture to the students of the Advanced LLM in Children’s Rights as well as the Youth Law Master program.

Rouillon had an interactive and fruitful discussion with the students on the role of the European Commission in upholding the highest standard of protection for children within the European border and beyond. As part of the curriculum for both programs, the exchange focused on migration and children’s rights as well as broader topics of child protection. It was a brilliant opportunity for students to engage with a professional in the field of children’s rights and ask their questions as to the current developments and challenges on the issues discussed daily in their classrooms.
