Four Leiden professors elected members of the KHMW

The Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities (KHMW) has appointed four Leiden professors as members. Petra Sijpesteijn, Vanessa Mak, Mariska Kret and Miranda van Eck have recently joined the KHMW.

Since its establishment in 1752, the KHMW has been building bridges between the realm of science and society at large. The KHMW comprises a group of academics and a group of representatives from society who are interested in science.

Petra Sijpesteijn (Professor of Arabic), Vanessa Mak (Professor of Civil Law), Mariska Kret (Professor of Cognitive Psychology) and Miranda van Eck (Professor of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Therapeutics) were appointed on 19 February.
