Dr Cecily Rose appointed to the Advisory Committee on Public International Law

Dr Cecily Rose, Associate Professor at the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies, has been appointed by the Dutch Government to the Advisory Committee on Public International Law, with effect from 1 January 2025.

The Advisory Committee on Public International Law (CAVV) is an independent body that advises the government and the parliament of the Netherlands on international legal issues. The CAVV produces advisory reports about issues of public international law, both on its own initiative and upon request. Its reports contribute to substantive debate on a broad range of issues of public international law.

Dr Rose is engaged in research, teaching, and consultancy work in the field of public international law. She has a broad background in public international law, and general interests and expertise in the field. She is currently pursuing research interests in the areas of international dispute settlement and transnational criminal law, especially in relation to corruption and asset recovery.
