Sophie Starrenburg elected as member of Coordinating Committee of the ESIL Interest Group on the International Law of Culture

In October, Sophie Starrenburg was elected as a member of the Coordinating Committee of the ESIL Interest Group on the International Law of Culture. She will work alongside Giovanni Carlo Bruno (Italian National Research Council), Andrzej Jakubowski (Polish Academy of Studies), and Lucas Lixinski (University of New South Wales).

ESIL the European Society of International Law, is a leading European network of scholars and practitioners in the field of international law. The Society’s Interest Groups provide members with the opportunity to interact with colleagues along thematic lines. The Interest Group on the International Law of Culture provides a forum for members of the society specialised in the field of international cultural heritage law, as well as for members with expertise in other fields of public international law which touch upon the theme of ‘culture’.
