Yao Yuan, a PhD candidate from the Company Law Department, has recently concluded a research visit at the Lauterpacht Research Centre for International Law, University of Cambridge. This experience has significantly advanced her doctoral work and enhanced her international academic connections.
During her stay in Cambridge, Yao had the opportunity to advance her research on Foreign Investment Screening (FDI) mechanisms and to enjoy the city of Cambridge. She attended regular seminars and conferences organised by the Centre, where she exchanged knowledge and insights with other talented scholars from around the world.
While learning from fellow researchers, Yao was also invited to present her PhD project.
