uMail for alumni to be discontinued to reduce data usage
Do you still use the uMail address from your alumnus account? Then it is important to know that this mailbox will be discontinued. This is because just a handful of alumni use the uMail addresses and associated mailboxes that we currently maintain for thousands of alumni.
The university is proud of its alumni and likes to stay in touch. Chances are we already have your email and postal address. If we do not have them, what are you missing out on?
What the Alumni Office can do for you
Every month, the Alumni Office collects the best, most inspiring university news, interviews an alumnus with a special story to tell and invites you first to popular events such as storytelling workshops, career cafés, masterclasses in persuading others and webinars on a specific discipline by Leiden professors.
If you are not receiving emails from the Alumni Office at your private address or have a forward on your uMail address, tell us your current email address by completing the change of address form or sending an email to wijziging@alumni.leidenuniv.nl with ‘Change of email address’ as the subject.
The university on your doormat
Two students from the same programme who are following completely different career paths in the ‘One degree, two pathways’ item, a peek behind the scenes at experiments in a chemistry lab and the ins and outs of the Cyber Security master’s degree programme. Leidraad alumni magazine (in Dutch) is full of exciting stories to fill a Sunday afternoon and support you in your personal and professional development.
If you do not yet receive Leidraad, fill in the change of address form so we have your latest address. You can also choose to receive the digital edition of Leidraad.
The alumni uMail addresses will be phased out in the coming months. Please contact the Alumni Office with any questions at info@alumni.leidenuniv.nl.
