Max Rood Moot Court competition on labour law
On 21 June, the Labour Law and Social Security department and study association SLN hosted the seventh Max Rood Moot Court competition. The morning session involved teams from various universities arguing labour law cases in the preliminary round. The Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) team and Groningen team competed for the trophy in the final, fighting their way through a case they had been given just a few hours previously.
The Groningen team emerged victorious – what a great achievement! The jury comprising judges and lawyers praised all of the teams that participated. It was an intense yet successful day!
The department would like to thank the judges, participants, their coaches and SLN for their fantastic efforts.
