Vacancy for Editorial Assistant – Common Market Law Review
The Common Market Law Review (CML Rev.), one of the oldest and most prestigious journals in the field of European Union law, has its editorial office at Leiden Law School, Leiden University.
The Managing Editor, Anna Krisztian, is looking for an editorial assistant starting in April 2024, for 14 hours a week. The position is paid.
Requirements:
- excellent English
- an independent attitude
- a keen interest in and good knowledge of European Union law
- availability to carry out the duties for at least 12 months
- enrolment as a student at Leiden University
The Editorial Office is where the content of the journal is decided, and is the central point for contacts with the Editorial Board, the authors and the publishers. The assistant is involved in a number of administrative tasks in the Editorial Office, and in particular takes responsibility for running the book review section (ordering books, inviting reviewers, sending books out, receiving and editing reviews).
