Tenth volume of International Labor Rights Case Law Journal
Leiden University’s Department of Labour Law and Social Security is proud to announce that the International Labor Rights Case Law Journal (ILaRC) is set to publish its tenth volume this year. A valuable initiative of Paul van der Heijden, Emeritus Professor at the Department of Labour Law and former Rector Magnificus of Leiden University, the journal sheds light on annotated case law in the field of fundamental labour rights.
Since its foundation, ILaRC has played a vital role in commenting on international case law on fundamental rights in the workplace. The journal features rulings from key authorities, including rulings by ILO committees, the European Court of Human Rights and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. ILaRC also covers high-profile rulings by national courts on fundamental labour rights. The journal also contains annotations on these rulings by renowned international academics in the field of labour law.
The last issue of ILaRC's ninth volume was published on 10 November 2023, under the editorship of Yvonne Erkens and Managing Editor Fieke Weber. Both are staff members at the Department of Labour Law and Social Security. The first issue of ILaRC's tenth volume is expected to be published in the spring.
