Annemarie Drahmann speaker at debate on closed government
On 12 April, Annemarie Drahmann, Associate Professor at the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law of Leiden Law School, was one of the speakers at a debate organised by platform for investigative journalism Follow the Money to discuss closed government.
Topics included a discussion of the Dutch government’s handling of requests for information under the Open Government Act (Woo) and the obstacles that journalists face. It is essential that journalists have access to information to do their work objectively and thoroughly. The debate was organised in response to an exceptional case and Follow the Money’s biggest dossier: the Shell Papers.
