Reijer Passchier speaks about digital transition at SER
What does digitalisation mean for the labour market, the business sector and society in general? Reijer Passchier, Assistant Professor Leiden Law School and Professor of Digitalisation and the Democratic Constitutional State at the Open University, spoke at a meeting of the Social and Economic Council of the Netherlands (SER) on this topic.
The ongoing digitalisation and the rise of Artificial Intelligence will make public authorities and certain big tech companies even more powerful than they already were. Are our institutions ready for this? Can they safeguard the democratic rule of law and its fundamental values also in the future? These are key issues in research being conducted by Reijer Passchier.
