Medals for Humanities Faculty programmes
Three programmes at the Faculty of Humanities have been awarded medals by EW and ResearchNed. The bachelor’s in German Language and Culture took gold, and the bachelor's in Ancient Near Eastern Studies and the master's in Middle Eastern Studies each earned a bronze medal.
Every year, EW Magazine and ResearchNed compare more than 2,200 bachelor’s and master’s programmes by asking students about their experiences. The final comparison takes place within their own field of study, but also with the entire sector they belong to.
Medals
Medals are awarded to outstanding programmes. Where the student ratings are exceptionally high on four or five components (more than one standard deviation above the sector average), the programme earns a bronze medal. For six or seven exceptional scores, it is silver; for eight or more gold.
