Artists: let your voice be heard at the ESOF conference!
Between July 13 and 16, 2022, Leiden University will host the ESOF conference. The EuroScience Open Forum is the largest multidisciplinary scientific conference in Europe. Artists can attend the conference with a reduced entry rate.
This year’s theme is Crossing Borders, Engaged Science, Resilient Societies, with seven tracks: a sustainable environment; cultural identities and societal transformation; space for science; healthy societies; freedom and the societal responsibility of science; science and business; sustainable academic careers. There will be a different international keynote speaker for each of the seven tracks that will highlight their importance, difficulties, and opportunities towards achieving the conference theme. And within each track multiple individual sessions take place.
On Friday, July 15th, there will be a session and a keynote about the relationship between art and science. But, given the interdisciplinary character and the focus on social challenges, there are plenty of other keynotes and sessions that are also of interest to artists. See the program here
ESOF considers it important that artists can make their voices heard at this symposium. To encourage this, artists can attend the entire symposium for the reduced entry rate of €50. You can register here.
