Vanessa Mak at conference 'Transformation of Consumer Law'
On 21 and 22 April 2022, Vanessa Mak participated in the conference 'Transformation of Consumer Law' at the University of Warwick, organised by Christian Twigg-Flesner and Hans Micklitz.
Twenty academics from various European countries discussed the future of consumer law in light of challenges such as digitalisation, sustainability and the interaction between European and national law. Vanessa presented a paper on the 'Transformation of the Consumer Image', which ties in with her Vici project. The papers from the conference will be published later this year by Hart Publishing.
