Call for applications for student assistant for GTGC seed grant project
The project “Localizing the Women Peace & Security Agenda Across Multiple Governance Challenges” funded by the Global Transformations and Governance Challenges Seed Grant Program, is seeking a student assistant to assist the project leaders on a variety of administrative tasks from April 2022-January 2023.
The administrative tasks include: helping to organize a workshop, including correspondence with workshop participants, preparing the running order of the event, sourcing digital presentations from participants, and technical support on the day; and building a database of global experts on WPS in Excel.
Requirements
The student assistant should be able to: use MS Office; work responsibly and independently; communicate well in written and spoken English; and work as a team. Interest in the thematic area of the gender and security will be considered an advantage. The applicant must be a Bachelor’s student, ideally at Leiden University in the academic year 2021-2022 and 2022-2023.
The work will be initially for 100 hours which can be completed flexibly in agreement with the team from April 2022-January 2023. There is an opportunity for additional hours in the academic year 2022-2023.
