Pharma company Janssen expands premises on Leiden Bio Science Park
Pharma company Janssen has begun construction on a new office and lab building at the Leiden Bio Science Park. The first pile of the 13,500 square metre building has been driven into the ground.
The new building will be an addition to Janssen Biologics and Janssen Vaccines & Prevention’s at the Leiden Bio Science Park. It has been designed by Powerhouse Company architects.
Sustainability
The building, at Kop van Leeuwenhoek, will have a large, light atrium, a rooftop garden and a company restaurant. For the developer, RED Company, sustainability and health will be a particular focus, including reduced CO2 emissions and a healthy internal climate.
The building is expected to be complete in the first half of 2023.
