Bert Koenders in conversation on US Elections and Geopolitics at Columbia University
On 13 November, Bert Koenders (Professor of Peace, Security and Justice at ISGA) was invited to take part in a conversation with Enrico Letta (Dean of the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) at Sciences Po in Paris and former Italian Prime Minister) on the European and geopolitical implications of the US elections.
The event, “A European Conversation on Geopolitics: Discussing US Elections and EU Foreign Policy” was organised by Columbia University and held as an online event via Zoom. Prof Koenders and Dean Letta discussed how the current pandemic, the recent US elections, and the new global economic challenges are dramatically reshaping geopolitical dynamics across the world. Professor Koenders drew not only on his experience as a former Foreign Minister and Special Envoy for the World Bank, but also on various topics he discusses with students in the framework of his ISGA Courses in the Minor Global Affairs.
