More than a quarter of all Dutch PhD research on administrative law is conducted at Leiden University
In October 2020, the Dutch Journal of Administrative Law had a special PhD issue, giving an overview of all PhD research currently being conducted in the area of administrative law in the Netherlands.
Of all 57 PhD research projects, 17 are being conducted at Leiden University – the greatest amount by far. The research covers a broad range of topics, varying from freedom to choose your own doctor and academic entrepreneurship, to the appraisal of expert evidence and digitalisation in the administration of justice in administrative matters. An overview of all PhD projects at the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law can be found here.
