Vasiliki Kosta participated in the García Pelayo Seminar of the Center for Political and Constitutional Studies, Madrid entitled: ‘Discretionary Powers and Judicial Review: What Destiny for the Principle of Proportionality?’
In this seminar, Kosta held a presentation on the principle of proportionality in EU law and its application by the Court of Justice of the EU as well as the German Constitutional Court in its PSPP judgment.
The keynote lecture was delivered by Professor José Maria Rodriguez de Santiago, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and further speakers included Professor Iddo Porat, College of Law and Business, Tel Aviv, and Professor Joana Mendes, University of Luxembourg.
The Seminar was opened by Professor Julia Ortega Bernardo and moderated by Dr Giuliano Vosa.
