Simone van der Hof appointed member of commitee of Weizenbaum Institute
Simone van der Hof is appointed as member of the evaluation committee of the Weizenbaum Institute, founded in Berlin in 2017.
The Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society is a German interdisciplinary internet institute. It is a joint Berlin-Brandenburg project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The institute is organised in a partnership of Berlin universities and research institutes: Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, Universität der Künste Berlin, the University of Potsdam and the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems (FOKUS). The coordinator of the network is the Social Science Research Center Berlin (WZB). The commission's report will be presented to the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) on 1 March 2020.
