Melanie Fink speaks at ELENA Course in Sevilla
On 9 November 2019 Melanie Fink, researcher at the Europa Institute, delivered a key note lecture at this year’s Advanced ELENA Course.
The ELENA Network (European Legal Network on Asylum) runs training courses for practitioners and decision-makers over twenty-five years. This year’s workshop on “International protection in Europe: persistent challenges and litigation opportunities” took place on 8 and 9 November 2019 in Sevilla, Spain. In that context, Melanie Fink delivered a key note lecture on “Human rights and Frontex accountability”, focussing in particular on litigation possibilities.
ELENA is a forum for over 500 legal practitioners who aim to promote human rights for refugees, asylum seekers, and other persons in need of international protection in their counselling and advocacy work. It is is coordinated by the European Council on Refugees and Exiles (ECRE).
