Jos Gommans guest curator exhibition 'India and the Netherlands in the Age of Rembrandt'
Jos Gommans is guest curator of the exhibition "India and the Netherlands in the Age of Rembrandt", from October 17th to December 16th 2019 in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya in Mumbai (CSMVS).
The exhibition is a collaboration between the CSMVS and the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, and was opened last Tuesday by King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima. The exhibition is based on the book that Gommans wrote for the Rijksmuseum last year: The Unseen World: The Netherlands and India from 1550.
