Els de Busser on Panel during EuroDIG 2019
On 20 June 2019, dr. Els De Busser was a panelist during the EuroDIG 2019 Conference in The Hague at the World Forum.
The panel was on 'Making norms work – pursuing effective cybersecurity', and included the following panelists in addition to Els De Busser: Marietje Schaake, Member of European Parliament & Commissioner, Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace (GCSC), Uri Rosenthal, former Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs (2010-2012), Dutch Government’s Special Envoy for International Cyber Policy (2013-2017) & Commissioner, Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace (GCSC), and Thomas Grob, Senior Expert Regulatory Strategy, Deutsche Telekom.
The panel was moderated by Jacqueline Eggenschwiler, PhD Candidate at University of Oxford’s Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security and the Faculty of Law, and Vladimir Radunović, Director of e-diplomacy and cybersecurity programmes at DiploFoundation.
