Dorota Mokrosinska receives Rockefeller Visiting Fellowship at Princeton
Dorota Mokrosinska, University Lecturer of philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy has been selected for a Laurance S. Rockefeller Visiting Faculty Fellowship at the University Center for Human Values at Princeton for the 2019-2020 academic year.
This prestigious scholarship is awarded to scholars doing work in moral, political and legal philosophy. Fellows are selected on the basis of the importance and quality of their research and “the contribution they are likely to make to higher education in the future through teaching and writing about ethics and human values.” Laurance S. Rockefeller Visiting Faculty Fellows devote an academic year in residence at Princeton University, participating in lectures and various seminars to share work in progress.
While at Princeton, Dorota Mokrosinska will be working on a book project exploring the legitimacy of secrecy in democratic governance and finalizing the editing of a collection of essays for Routledge: Contested Trade-Offs: Secrecy and Transparency in European Democracies.
