Esther Philips elected as Chair of EARMA
Esther Philips, grant advisor at the Institute of Environmental Sciences, is the new Chair elect of the European Association for Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA).
Chair
As of 1 September 2019, Esther Philips will take offices from Sharon Bailey (NUI Galway) and start her role as Chair of the European Association for Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA). EARMA just finished its 25th Annual Conference in Bologna with 900 participants, where during the General Assembly the election for the new chairperson took place.
EARMA
EARMA is an international association of Research Managers & Administrators, that promotes and supports its members in their profession to support excellent research. Next to the annual conference, EARMA offers training programmes and networking opportunities for its members. One of the unique selling points of EARMA is that the Association successfully brings forward the Research management and Administration perspective to stakeholders, for instance to the European Commission.
