Faculty Office Moving in Autumn 2019
The next building to be renovated as part of the Humanities Campus project is the Van Eyckhof-Van Wijkplaats building. According to the current schedule, renovation work on the Van Eyckhof-Van Wijkplaats building will begin in the summer of 2020. Due to the fact that many classes are held in this building, room has to be made for teaching activities in the Lipsius building.
To convert the various spaces in the Lipsius building into classrooms, the following departments will be moving from the faculty office to Reuvensplaats in autumn 2019:
- The Faculty Board
- The Faculty Board secretaries’ office
- The Administrative Support department
- The Financial and Economic Affairs department
- The Personnel and Organisation department
- The Communication and Student Recruitment department
In the summer of 2020, these units will move again, this time to the Huizinga building, except for the Communication and Student Recruitment department. Possible locations are currently being explored for these departments.
The Teaching and Student Affairs (OSZ) department will remain in the Lipsius building, and the Computerisation and Facilities Affairs (IFZ) will remain in the PJ Veth building.
