The Duke-Leiden Institute in Global and Transnational Law: Call for Applications 2019

The Grotius Centre, in collaboration with Duke Law School, will be hosting the Duke-Leiden Institute in Global and Transnational Law from 16 June to 17 July 2019 in The Hague, the International City of Peace and Justice. Applications for the second edition are now open!

About the Institute


The Duke-Leiden Institute in Global and Transnational Law is a one-month programme providing a strong foundation for those interested in international and comparative law as well as for those planning to study law in the United States. Courses are taught by lecturers from both Duke Law School and Leiden Law School. In addition to having the opportunity to learn from influential academics from different legal cultures, students also get to enjoy special lectures, a scholarly conference and visits to international institutions.

Information for Leiden University Students


Leiden University students can benefit from an all-inclusive reduced fee.

Students in their last year of a Bachelor's degree in Law, a Master's degree in Law, a Master's degree in International Organisation/International Relations, or Leiden University College students majoring in law are warmly invited to apply for the Institute.
