Succesful first MOSE Young Researcher Workshop
On 28 and 29 June researchers from across the EU came together at Leiden Law School for the first MOSE Young Researcher Workshop.
As part of Jorrit Rijpma’s Jean Monnet Chair a call for paper was sent out earlier this year, inviting young researchers (PhD students or recent doctorates) to reflect on the theme of “Mobility and Security in Europe: accommodating change and upholding values”.
The topic of the workshop not only falls within the Jean Monnet Project of Rijpma, but also links to the Europa Institute’s overall Research Programme on the Progression of EU law.
Researchers from across Europe were joined by PhD students from Leiden, as well as academics and professionals from government, administration and the NGO world. As such the presenters received valuable feedback on their papers from peers, experienced scholars and practitioners.
