Henk te Velde appointed as President of the Association for Political History
Prof.dr. Henk te Velde is appointed as the new President of the Association for Political History.
The Association for Political History (APH) was launched in Leiden in 2014. The association aims to strengthen international cooperation in the field of education and research, thus promoting the quality of research. Furthermore, APH will provide high-quality training opportunities for PhD candidates and advanced students pursuing Masters’ degrees in Political History.
For the first four years, the APH was led by prof. Marc Lazar (SciencesPo Paris). Te Velde's appointment coincided with the annual APH PhD-conference, which was held in Paris in June.
Recently, prof. Te Velde also co-edited the recent volume in the European Conceptual History series, Democracy in Modern Europe. A Conceptual History.
