Fruitful cooperation
Back in 2009, Fontijn worked as a senior Research Fellow in the Eurasia Department of the German Archaeological Institute (DAI) in Berlin.
Aside from this, the Faculty of Archaeology has previously signed a memorandum of understanding with the DAI department named Roemisch-Germanische Kommission, which focuses on the archaeology of Europe. The appointment of David Fontijn further extends the fruitful cooperation between the DAI and our Faculty.
