The Kattekop again voted best childcare centre in South Holland
The University's childcare centre, de Kattekop, has been awarded the 2017 Regional Award by South Holland. In an independent survey, parents gave the centre an exceptional score of 9.4,.
De Kattekop run by Director Tilly Pannebakker, has scored extremely highly on quality for many years. The childcare centre is for children of staff and students at Leiden University and affiliated institutions.
De Kattekop is able to keep its quality scores high by continuously increasing its expertise. The centre is housed in a light and spacious building on Wassenaarseweg.
De Kattekop was set up 35 years ago and was named after Law scholar Kees Cath, who was president of the Executive Board from 1972 to 1988. It was under his auspices that the childcare centre was set up.
