Leiden University won prize for Overall Best Written Submission at the European Regional Round of the WTO Law Moot Court
From 28 February to 4 March 2018, the Leiden WTO Moot Court team participated in the European Regional Round of the 16th ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO law which was held in Naples, Italy.
The Leiden WTO Moot Court team plead against two teams from the University of Edinburgh and the London School of Economics respectively and won the prize of Overall Best Written Submission among the 20 participating universities.
The Leiden WTO Moot Court team consists of three team members, Dinara Soorbekova (LLM student from the Advanced European and International Business Law programme), Guihong Bao (LLM student from the Advanced International Tax Law programme) and Siyou Zhou (LLM student from the Advanced European and International Business Law programme), and two coaches, Agnieszka Gronwald (LLM student from the Advanced European and International Business Law programme) and Fengan Jiang (PhD student from the Europa Institute).
