Youtube star Ed Copeland gives Colloquium Ehrenfestii
On Wednesday February 7th, Professor Ed Copeland from the University of Nottingham will give the Colloquium Ehrenfestii.
Copeland is a theoretical physicist and successful science communicator, with frequent appearances on popular Youtube channels such as Sixty Symbols and Numberphile, reaching many hundreds of thousands of viewers.
In 2013, Copeland received the Raleigh Medal ‘for his work on particle/string cosmology from the evolution of cosmic superstrings, to the determination of the nature of Inflation in string cosmology and to constraining dynamical models of dark energy and modified gravity’.
