Leonie Henkes wins the OIKOS thesis award
Leonie Henkes will be honored with the OIKOS Thesis Award 2017!
The national research school for classical studies (OIKOS) offers two annual awards for the best Research Master Theses written in the previous academic year. The theses are judged by an independent and international jury. Leonie's Research Master Thesis 'I will not give up my status: the value of the mare in Iliad 23' is this year's winner in the category Greek, Latin and Ancient Philosophy. The award will be presented at the annual OIKOS Day in May 2018. We are very proud to have Leonie Henkes as our alumna. On behalf of the department of Classics and Ancient Civilisations we congratulate her on this wonderful moment of success!
