Humanities Leiden ranked 25th in THE world ranking
According to the yearly Times World University Ranking, Leiden’s Humanities Faculty ranks 25th in the world, making it the highest ranked Dutch university in the subject area ‘Arts and Humanities’.
Number 1 in The Netherlands
Within the subject area 'Arts and Humanities', Leiden University is the highest ranked Dutch university. The Humanities Faculty scores particularly high in teaching, research and international outlook. The Leiden faculty is followed by the University of Amsterdam (31) and Utrecht University (60). Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology en Harvard University top the list.
