Christa Tobler speaks in the Dutch Parliament on Brexit
On 1 February 2017 there was a hearing in the committee on European affairs of the second chamber of the Dutch Parliament on the issue of "Brexit".
It was the aim of the Commission to gain insight into the possibility to protect Dutch interests and into how a future legal relationship between the UK and the EU might look like post-Brexit. Christa Tobler (Professor of European Law at the University of Leiden and the University of Basel) was one of the speakers in the section with three representatives from academia.MP Dr. Pieter Omtzigt will write a report, in particular on the expected effect of the Brexit on Dutch interests and on Dutch citizens.
