Upcoming activities by ACPA PhD candidates Paul Houdijk, Gabriel Paiuk and Magda Dourado Pucci
Paul Houdijk
On Saturday, October 8th, ACPA PhD candidate Paul Houdijk will contribute to the Bachdag, organized in Amersfoort. Paul will give an organ recital in the St. Joriskerk. The theme of this concert is the meaning of Bach for the Belgian / French organ school of the nineteenth century.

Gabriel Paiuk
ACPA PhD candidate Gabriel Paiuk will take part in the presentation of the dance-theatre work “Pasado Mañana” (After Tomorrow) by Argentine dance company and research centre for the movement arts LEM.

This presentation will take place within the Iberoamerican festival “Plataforma Berlin”.
Gabriel Paiuk is resident composer of the dance company since 2001. For this performance he has composed the soundtrack and devised a sound installation which conforms part of a multi-layered piece together with the video and movement elements.
On Wednesday October 18th, Paiuk’s piece for violin and electronic media “Greifen” will be performed by German violinist Ekkehard Windrich in Oldenburg, as part of the concert series of Oh-Ton Ensemble. The program includes as well a new work by Gottfried Michael Koenig written especially for Ekkehard Windrich, as well as a new composition by Ekkehard himself.

ACPA PhD candidate Magda Dourado Pucci's A capella group Macawa will perform on several occasions in the coming month:
