Giovanni Gruni to take part to meeting of International Law Association committee on sustainable development
Giovanni Gruni, Assistant Professor European Law, will take part to the International Law Association committee on international trade law, sustainable development and the Green economy. The meeting will be held at King's College, University of Cambridge on the 11th of November.
The mandate of the new Committee on International Trade Law, Sustainable Development and the Green Economy is to analyse and study the rules-based trading system as a global enabling environment that supports an open, fair and development-friendly trading system, which is both socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable, in line with the UN Post-2015 Development Agenda. Examples of themes that may be considered, but are not limited to the Committee's work programme, include trade and environment, climate and energy, food and agriculture, and development.
