For the first time ever: The Hague Orientation Programme!
From Monday August 22th until Friday August 26th, The Hague Orientation Programme (The HOP) will take place. The first-year students of Leiden University in The Hague will get to know the city, their study and the university, the student life and their fellow students.
The amount of Leiden University students in The Hague is quickly growing and that is why the university decided that it was time to organise an introduction week for the new bachelor students of Public Administration, Leiden University College, Computer Science & Economics and International Studies and the new master students of the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs.
A week full of fun activities!
During The HOP the students will be introduced to everything The Hague as a student city has to offer. This will be done in groups of approximately 15 students and 2 guides and they will be able to participate in a wide range of activities together, for instance an afternoon at the beach, but also a visit to one of the museums or political institutions. Besides, the students will have their first introduction of their study and there will be an information festival where all student initiatives will be present. This way, the participants of The HOP will get a sneak preview of The Hague, the opportunities the city offers and what it is like to live and study there
