Yannick van den Brink appointed Assistant Professor at the Child Law Department
Y.N. (Yannick) van den Brink (LL.M, MA) will be appointed Assistant Professor at the Child Law Department of the Leiden Law School as of 1 August 2016.
He will teach courses in the Dutch master’s programme on Child Law (master Jeugdrecht) and the international advanced master’s programme on International Children’s Rights and conduct research in the fields of juvenile justice and international children’s rights.
Since 2012, Van den Brink holds a Meijers PhD position at the Child Law Department. His doctoral research on the use pre-trial detention in juvenile justice is expected to be completed by the end of 2016.
