From the Anthropology of discrimination to the history of Anthropology; from consumer finance in the digital age to techno-enterprise in Tanzania and positive change generated by critical heritage studies. This spring series of research seminars and workshops will be aspiring as well as practical.
Anthropology seminars and workshops
From February to June the Institute Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology offers a a new series of research seminars and workshops. In these 5 seminars and workshops staff members and international scholars present practical insights in Anthropology and discuss their latest research with the participants.
Monday 15 February: Ian Lilley
Our spring series will kick off on Monday February 15th at 15:30h with a seminar by Prof. Ian Lilley, archeologist at Leiden University, under the title 'All of a Piece'.

The research seminars and workshops are public and given in English. The series is interdisciplinary and linked to our research programme Global Challenges.
