While INRIK is currently involved in various research projects in Indonesia, interest in a closer examination of training and education in ethnoscience in various sectors, as they are represented in the study programmes of the different faculties of Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) in Bandung, was expressed throughout the workshop. Furthermore, new initiatives to set up a Journal on Ethnoscience in Indonesia, which require a more detailed elaboration in the near future, were discussed.
