Nadine Akkerman Visiting Fellow at University of Birmingham
Dr. Nadine Akkerman, working at the Leiden University Centre for the Arts in Society (LUCAS), is a Visiting Fellow at the University of Birmingham from May 27 till July 4. She will participate in an important public discussion on Challenges for Early Modern Women's History and she'll be the keynote speaker at the international colloquium Cultural Production in Early Modern Households.

The Correspondance of Eilzabeth Stuart, Queen of Bohemia, of which the second volume was published in 2011. The first and third volume are scheduled to appear in 2014 and 2015.
Along with Professor Lisa Jardine, Akkerman will participate in a public discussion on
Challenges for Early Modern Women's History on June 18. Jardine and Akkerman will offer exciting new researc opportunities for excavating early modern women's history. Akkerman will also be the keynote speaker at a one-day international colloquium on June 28. The colloquium will bring together international scholars working on various aspects of
Cultural Production in Early Modern Households.
